India Global Leaders Scholarship Postgraduate Students

The Faculty of Business, Economic and Law, University of Queensland (UQ) invites applications from Indian citizens for India Global Leaders Scholarship 2020. The high achieving students from India who are willing to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate coursework study (excluding MBA program) will be awarded a tuition fee waiver of up to 10,000 dollars.

INDIA GLOBAL LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP 2020

ELIGIBILITY

The students fulfilling the following eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarship -

• Citizens of India, who normally reside in India and are not already undertaking studies in Australia

• Students who wish to commence their program at UQ in Semester 1, 2020.

• Students who have received an unconditional offer for a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program and who are commencing students at UQ (the opportunity is not open to currently enrolled UQ students, or students studying at UQ on study abroad or exchange).

• The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and high achieving students are encouraged to apply.

HOW TO APPLY

The online application process involves following steps -

Step 1: Apply online Website for respective undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.

Step 2: The applicants will receive a UQ Student ID Number and an unconditional offer (or a conditional offer providing that all conditions are to be met by the scholarship application closing date).

Step 3: Once registered, complete the scholarship form by clicking Website.

Step 4: Submit the duly filled application form along with all necessary documents.

Note: The candidates need to apply for their chosen degree program prior to applying for the scholarship.

Documents required

The candidates will be required to submit the following with their scholarship application:

• CV/Resume

• Personal/motivational statement of not more than 1000 words

• One reference letter from teaching staff at their respective institution or from an employer, if available (in English). The academic reference letters should ideally rank the academic performance of the candidates against their peer group.

Award Details

The selected candidates will receive a tuition fee scholarship between 5,000 - 10,000 dollars.
