Srinivas Rayaprol Poetry Prize

Srinivas Rayaprol Literary Trust announces ninth Srinivas Rayaprol Poetry Prize for Indian citizens between 20-40 years.The objective is to recognize excellence in poetry written in English. The selected participants will receive a cash award of INR 15,000 and a citation which will be presented at a literary event in Hyderabad in the month of October 2017.The prize was instituted by the Srinivas Rayaprol Literary Trust and is being administered jointly by the Department of English, University of Hyderabad.

ELIGIBILITY

In order to participate in this Contest, an applicant must be-

• An Indian citizen.

• Aged between 20 to 40 years.

• Three different, unpublished poems written by the applicant; Please put all the three poems in one single word or pdf document and not separate files.

• Evidence of age; (scanned copies of passport, driver’s license, pan card, or any other valid id)

• Complete contact information (including phone numbers and email addresses).

Note: Name should not be written on the poems to be submitted to the jury members.
