- Browse to Dell Drivers & Downloads website.
- Identify your Dell product by clicking on Detect Product.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Dell Detect application. Refer to the Dell knowledge-base article Dell System Detect for more information.
Alternatively, you can either enter the Service Tag, Express Service Code or Serial number for your Dell product and click Submit.
Or, select your Dell product manually by clicking on View Products. - Click Detect Drivers to allow Dell to automatically scan your PC and list available drivers.
- Alternatively, you can locate drivers manually using:
- Keyword search box - Enter a keyword of the driver you are looking for, example - BIOS, Chipset, Audio, Video, etc.
- Operating System & Category filters - Select the operating system installed on your Dell PC and choose a driver category.
- Select the checkbox next to the driver of your choice.
You may have to click View More to see more drivers. - Click Add Selected to Download List on top of the driver list.
- Repeat Step 5 & 6 until you have selected all the required device drivers.
- Click View My Download List at the bottom of the driver list.
- Click Download this list to start the download process. Make a note of the location where the downloaded files are being saved.
- Using File Explorer (also known as Windows Explorer), browse to the location where the downloaded file was saved.
- Double-click on the .exe driver installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Some device drivers may require you to reboot the PC to complete the installation process.
Note: To download multiple device drivers, you need to sign in using your My Dell account. Using My Dell account helps you manage download lists that you may create for multiple Dell products.
Note: You can use the download manager to create an exact copy of your driver files, called an ISO image. The ISO image can be used to create a CD or DVD disc or external USB drive that will contain all the downloaded driver installation files. If you are installing the drivers on the same device where you are downloading, you do not need to create an ISO image and can simply download and install the files.
