The Sitaram Jindal Foundation(SJF), formerly known as S.J. Jindal Trust, was established in 1969 with a sole objective of serving the underprivileged and poor in various sections of society in different fields including education, healthcare and rural development with discrimination on the basis of caste or creed.
The foundation through its Flagship scholarship program viz., Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship awards scholarship to more than 12000 students of class IX to Class XII every year throughout the nation so that they can unleash their talent in highly competitive situation. Till date over 5,00,000 students have been benefitted through Sitaram Jindal Scholarship.
Interested and eligible candidate can download the application form for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship from the website and submit it along with all requisite documents to Sitaram Jindal Foundation’s office before the due date.
Deadline Details:
Every year the last date for submitting an application for Sitaram Jindal Foundation scholarship is 31st October 2017.
Procedure
The application procedure for Sitaram Jindal Foundation scholarships is as mentioned below:
1. First, you have to download the application form from the website.
2. You have to attach following documents issued by the competent authority and duly attested by the Principal /Authorized Professor or Lecturer along with the application form;
a) Photocopy of 10th/12th Marks sheet
b) Photocopy of the mark sheet of the last exam Passed
c) Photocopy of Income Certificate (The Income certificate should be less than 3 years old as on the date of submission of application subject to that its validity is in force.)
d) Photocopy of Merit Certificate is to be enclosed as per Annexure VII ( in case of Engg , Medical, Diploma & MBA students )
e) For Hostellers, a certificate issued by the warden or owner of the private accommodation as per Annexure VIII downloadable from our website.
f) Certificate of disability for physically challenged students – issued by competent authority.
g) For ex-servicemen/widows :
i) Pension Payment Order (PPO)
ii) Identity Card for Ex-servicemen & Widows issued by competent authority
iii) Relationship Dependency Certificate
Fully completed applications form in all respects should be sent to the address given below along with the requisite documents:
