Rotary Foundation Scholarships And Fellowships for Indian Students

The Rotary Foundation is a nonprofit foundation that was established to fund service undertaken by the more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in 500+ Rotary districts around the world. Students do not apply to The Rotary Foundation directly for scholarships. Rather, the Foundation supports Rotary clubs and districts that wish to offer scholarships as part of their service to their communities. Contact your local Rotary club or district to find out about scholarship availability and specific eligibility requirements in your area. You can usehttps://www.rotary.org/en/search/club-finder ) feature at Rotary.org to get contact information for your nearby Rotary clubs. Scholarship application deadlines vary by district. If the club or district chooses to sponsor you for a scholarship, they will then submit an application to The Rotary Foundation. Please note that approval at the club or district level does not ensure approval by The Rotary Foundation.

Rotary also offers another type of study opportunity: Rotary Peace Fellowships. These fellowships provide academic and practical training that prepares scholars to become leaders in solving today's global challenges. Up to 100 fellows are selected each year in an internationally competitive process based on personal, academic, and professional achievements. Fellows study at one of six Rotary Peace Centers at leading universities around the world and earn either a professional development certificate in peace and conflict studies or a master's degree in a discipline related to peace and security. Interested students apply for these fellowships, too, through Rotary clubs and districts, which can recommend any number of qualified candidates from their area for consideration each year. Learn more about this opportunity at www.rotary.org/peace-fellowships.
