Bioengineering Master’s Widening Participation Scholarship 2026

Eligible Courses

Applicants must hold an offer for one of the following full-time programmes:

  • MSc Biomedical Engineering

  • MSc Engineering for Biomedicine

  • MSc Human and Biological Robotics

  • MRes Bioengineering

  • MRes Neurotechnology

  • MRes Cancer Technology

  • MRes Medical Device Design and Entrepreneurship


Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Hold an offer of admission to an eligible Bioengineering Master’s course for Autumn 2026.

  • Be a UK-domiciled student (England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland) with Home fee status.

  • Not previously completed a Master’s degree, integrated Master’s, or PhD at any institution.

  • Have received a maintenance grant or higher-rate maintenance loan during undergraduate study.

  • Be eligible for a UK Government Master’s student loan.

  • Be a new applicant (continuing students are not eligible).


Scholarship Benefits
