Newcastle University Business School Scholarships For MBA Students

Newcastle University Business School has introduced Business Excellence Scholarships, MBA Business Excellence Scholarships, MBA Leadership Scholarships 2017. These scholarships are available to outstanding students entering the full-time MBA programme in 2017 at the University. The applications will start from September.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility criteria:

For Business Excellence Scholarships: A candidate should-

• hold an unconditional offer of admission
• have obtained a UK 1st Class Honours Degree or its international equivalent by the final scholarship deadline
• have previously studied at a University with a strong academic reputation
• hold an English language qualification 
• Only applicants that meet the criteria for direct entry onto the Master's programme will be considered.

For  MBA Bussiness Excellence Scholarships: A candidate should-

• hold a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to the full-time MBA
• have substantive managerial experience, normally of at least 4 years
• ideally hold the equivalent of a UK 1st Class or 2:1 honours degree
• perform well at interview across all competency areas
• hold an English language qualification 
• Only candidates that meet the criteria for direct entry onto the MBA programme will be considered.

For  MBA Leadership Scholarships 2017: A candidate should-

• hold a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to the full-time MBA
• have substantive managerial experience, normally of at least 6 years
• can demonstrate strong leadership experience, credentials and a positive career trajectory to date (through the application and at interview)
• ideally, hold the equivalent of a UK 1st Class or 2:1 honors degree and have previously studied at a University with a strong academic reputation and ranking
• perform exceptionally at interview across all competency areas
• hold an English language qualification 
• Only candidates that meet the criteria for direct entry onto the MBA programme will be considered.

Note: There is no application process for this scholarship. All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and hold unconditional offers will be considered.​

Scholarship awards:

• Business Excellence Scholarships- £5,000 is payable towards the cost of tuition fees and will be awarded to high achieving students for Business Excellence Scholarships.
• MBA Business Excellence Scholarships- £6,000, payable towards the cost of tuition fees, will be awarded to high achieving students for the full-time MBA for 2017 entry.
•  MBA Leadership Scholarships 2017- £10,000, payable towards the cost of tuition fees, will be awarded to high achieving students for the full-time MBA for 2017 entry.
