Kashyapa Scheme For Food And Shelter

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing 'Kashyapa Scheme For Food & Shelter - 2017' for the poor brahmins of Andhra Pradesh.The objective of this scheme is to give financial assistance to poor orphan children, differently abled, widows, destitute women (separated from their husbands) and elderly brahmins of Andhra Pradesh for meeting their food and shelter expenses.

KASHYAPA SCHEME FOR FOOD & SHELTER - 2017

ELIGIBILITY

In order to be eligible for this scheme, an applicant must

• Belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.

• Be holders of White Ration Card or have annual family income below INR 75000.

• Be orphan children below 14 years of age as on 1 August 2017, elderly above 60 years of age as on 1 August 2017, differently abled of any age, widows and destitute women (separated from husbands, but do not have legal documents) of any age.

•  Not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other government scheme for the same purpose.

Follow the steps given below in order to apply

Step 2- Fill in all the details and upload the required documents.

Step 3- Click on submit after filling all the details.

Documents required

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of maximum 250 kb size each) of the following documents

• Passport size photograph (in jpeg format)

• Aadhar Card of the applicant

• Caste Certificate issued by competent government authority (Revenue Inspector / MRO)

• White Ration Card or Income Certificate issued by the competent government authority (Revenue Inspector / MRO)

• Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank or SBI (account must be in the name of applicant)

• In case of elderly staying in old age home, a certificate from old age home that the applicant is staying in their old age home

• In case of widow, legal divorce document, and

• In case of destitute women (separated from their husbands, but do not have the legal document), a certificate/recommendation from District Coordinator / MC Member of the AP Brahmin Cooperative Credit Society / MLA / MP

Award details

Amount specified under this scheme is as below

• Rs. 1,000/- per month to orphan children below 14 years of age

• Rs. 1,000/- per month to differently abled persons

• Rs. 1,000/- per month to widow or destitute women (separated from husbands, but do not have the legal document) of any age

• Rs. 1,000/- per month to elderly of above 60 years of age, staying on his / her own

• Rs. 3,000/- per month to elderly of above 60 years of age, staying in any old age home in Andhra Pradesh

• Rs. 2,000/- per month to elderly of above 60 years of age, staying in any old age home in Andhra Pradesh and getting pension through NTR Bharosa Scheme

Note- The above amounts will be credited online to the SB Accounts of the selected applicants in the first week of the subsequent month, starting from October 2017 (for the month of September 2017) starting from the subsequent month of registration under the Scheme.
