Shankar's International Children's Competition

Children's Book Trust invites children upto age group 15 years i.e born on or after 1st January 2002, for Shankar's International Children's Competition 2018. Interested children can apply individually, any number of entries by selecting any theme/subject for the paintings, drawings or writings and the entry must be certified by the parent, guardian or teacher for the authenticity of the creation.


The drawings can be in any medium and the size of each entry should not be less than 30 x 40 cm. For written work (poems, plays, short stories, essays, descriptive writing), the English language will be considered only. The best entries will be published in the monthly magazine, Volume 59.

  • Open to all student up to the age 15 years i.e have been born on or after January 1, 2002.

The application can be done by post only with the following steps:

Step 1: Every entry should carry the following information in BLOCK LETTERS, at the back side of the creation, or at the end of the work:

First name/Last name
Boy or Girl
Date of Birth
Nationality
Full postal address
email ID and mobile number
Subject/title of the entry

Step 2: Send the entries to:

Step 3: Written entries can also be mailed in MsWord format at sicc.cbt@gmail.com.pr

MORE DETAILS
  • There is no entry fee
  • Results will be announced in September 2018
  • Prizewinners will be informed individually
  • No entry will be returned. The copyright of all entries will rest with Shankar’s International Children’s Competition
  • The entries will be judged by the organizers with the help of a jury. The judges’ decision will be final
