ESIC Hyderabad Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit
The maximum age limit is as follows:
Teaching Faculty: Not exceeding 69 years
Senior Resident: 45 years
No person shall serve as teaching faculty beyond the age of 70 years.

Educational Qualification
For Teaching Faculty
Candidates applying for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts should possess the qualifications and experience prescribed under the Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations, 2025, notified by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Candidates should have the required medical postgraduate/super-specialty qualification and experience as applicable to the concerned post and department.
For Accident & Emergency Services, candidates with postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care are preferred as per ESIC Human Resources Norms.
ICUs may be manned by eligible Critical Care Specialists, Anaesthetists, Medical Specialists, Pulmonary Medicine Specialists or Pediatric Specialists for NICU/PICU, as applicable.
For Senior Resident
Candidates should possess the prescribed postgraduate qualification relevant to the concerned specialty.
Candidates possessing PG degree DM/M.Ch./DrNB will be preferred for Senior Resident selection.
The selected Senior Resident in a Super Specialty department may be posted to another department depending on the hospital's requirements.
DNB Qualification
DNB qualifications in broad and super specialties may be treated as equivalent to the corresponding MD/MS and DM/M.Ch. qualifications subject to the conditions prescribed in the recruitment notification.
Where the applicable conditions for equivalence are not met, the prescribed additional senior residency requirement may apply for teaching purposes.
ESIC Hyderabad Recruitment 2026 – Salary
Selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration as per ESIC Headquarters guidelines.

For medical faculty, the consolidated remuneration includes applicable components such as NPA, DA and HRA as per ESIC rules.
The remuneration is subject to revision whenever there is a change in the applicable Dearness Allowance rates as per ESIC Headquarters instructions.
Contract Period
Teaching Faculty
The engagement will initially be for one year. It may be extended every year up to a maximum period of three years, subject to satisfactory performance, conduct and hospital requirements.
The engagement will also be subject to the joining of a regular incumbent or the candidate attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
Senior Resident
The engagement of Senior Residents will initially be for one year and may be extended annually up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance, conduct and requirement.
Senior Resident is a tenure post, and previous Senior Residency experience in Central or State Government institutions may be counted towards the maximum tenure.
Candidates who have already completed three years as Senior Resident under the Central Residency Scheme are not eligible to apply for the Senior Resident post under the Residency Scheme.
Application Fee / Caution Deposit

Reservation
Reservation will be applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.
