The JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship 2026-27 is one of India’s most prestigious financial support programs for students planning higher education abroad. 💰 Scholarship Benefits
Loan Scholarship Amount
Up to ₹20,00,000 (₹20 Lakhs) based on financial need and course cost.
Repayment Terms
Repayment begins after the third year of completing studies.
Paid in five equal annual installments.
Nominal interest is usually waived if repaid on time.
Additional Financial Support
Selected scholars may also receive:

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all the following conditions:
Must be an Indian citizen
Age not more than 45 years as of 30 June 2026
Minimum 60% average marks in undergraduate or postgraduate studies
Degree must be from a recognized Indian university
Must pursue full-time:
Master’s degree
PhD
Postdoctoral research abroad
Undergraduate or distance learning programs are not eligible
Additional Eligible Candidates
Final-year students awaiting admission offers
Students already studying abroad (with at least one academic year remaining)
Candidates on CPT/OPT must have at least two semesters remaining
Past JN Tata scholars (after full repayment) may reapply

Phase 1 — Online Application (Deadline: 15 March 2026)

Phase 2 — Aptitude Test
Shortlisted candidates take an online aptitude assessment.
Phase 3 — Subject Expert Interview
