Aikyashree Scholarship 2025-26 – Eligibility, Rewards and Application Process
The Aikyashree Scholarship 2025-26 registrations are currently ongoing. The last date to apply for Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, Merit-cum-Means, TSP, and SVMCM (Fresh & Renewal) is 28 February 2026. The authorities have also reopened the application window for SVMCM 2024-25 renewal applications.
The Aikyashree Scholarship is launched by the Government of West Bengal to provide financial assistance to minority students. The main aim of this scholarship is to support students from economically weaker backgrounds and help them access quality education.
Students who are domiciled in West Bengal and studying from Class 9 to Postgraduate level can apply through the official portal.

Aikyashree Scholarship 2025-26 – Eligibility Criteria
The following scholarships are available under the Aikyashree Portal managed by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC).
1) West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship
The student must be a domicile of West Bengal.
Must be studying in Class 9 or 10.
Must belong to SC or ST category.
Annual family income should not exceed ₹2 lakh.
2) West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship
The student must be a domicile of West Bengal.
Must belong to SC, ST, or OBC category.
Must be studying in Class 11, 12, Graduation, or Postgraduation.
Annual family income limit:
OBC: ₹1 lakh
SC: ₹2 lakh
ST: ₹2.5 lakh
3) Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
Must be a domicile of West Bengal.
Studying in Class 11 or 12
ORPursuing Graduation in Engineering, Medical, Technical or Professional courses.
Academic Requirements:
75% marks in Class 10 (for Higher Secondary/Diploma students)
75% marks in Class 12 (for Undergraduate students)
Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
M.Phil. and Doctoral students from state-aided institutions are also eligible.
Selection is based on merit-cum-means criteria.
4) Post-Matric Stipend under Talent Support Program (TSP)
Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Must belong to notified minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi).
Studying in a recognized institution in West Bengal from Class 11 to PhD level.
Annual family income must not exceed ₹2 lakh.
Must not be receiving any other scholarship.
Minimum marks required:
Less than 50% in Class 10 (for Class 11 students)
60% for Undergraduate (Honours)
53% at UG level for Postgraduate admission
55% for Professional/Engineering courses
Only two students from the same family can receive the stipend in one academic year.
Must be enrolled in a regular full-time course.
5) Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (SVMCM)
Must be a domicile of West Bengal.
Studying in recognized institutions within the state.
Must have passed the last qualifying exam from recognized boards/universities in West Bengal.
Annual family income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
Minimum Marks Required:
60% for Higher Secondary to Graduation
53% for Postgraduate or Honours level
55% for Engineering courses
Renewal Criteria:
60% aggregate marks from HS to UG
50% aggregate marks at PG level

How to Apply for Aikyashree Scholarship 2025-26
Step 1: Visit the official portal – wbmdfcscholarship.in
Step 2: Click on “Student Panel”.
Select Fresh Registration (for new applicants)
Select Renewal (for renewal)
Or click Registered Student Login
Step 3: Select your district.
Step 4: Fill in all required details in the application form.
Step 5: After registration confirmation, you will see a message about scheme eligibility. Click Continue.
Step 6: You will receive an Application ID for reference.
Step 7: Log in using credentials.
Step 8: Enter OTP sent to registered mobile number.
Step 9: Fill in personal, academic, and bank details. Upload required documents.
Step 10: Preview application carefully and click “Verify and Lock Application”.

How to Retrieve Application ID or Password
If a student forgets their Application ID or Password:
Visit official website.
Click Student Login.
Select Forgot User ID/Password.
Enter Registration Year, District, Mobile Number, DOB, Bank Account Number.
Application ID and Password will be sent via SMS.
How to Track Aikyashree Application Status
Visit official WBMDFC website.
Click on Track Application.
Enter District, Application ID, and Date of Birth.
Enter Captcha and click Submit.
