Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellowship 2018 is funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and aimed at mid-career journalists from the South Asian region. It provides an opportunity to explore the range of approaches taken by the UK and the South Asian region, and then use that knowledge to direct discussions that tackle the big issues challenging the field.

In order to submit the Chevening Scholarship application, it is essential for the students to keep the following documents ready -
- Valid passport/national ID card
- University transcripts and degree certificates (undergraduate, postgraduate)
- Three different UK master's course choices
Optional Documents
- English language test results
- UK master's university offer
Note: One needs to submit the above optional documents if he/she already meets the requirements. He/she can submit the initial application without these documents, but these documents must be uploaded to the application by 12 July 2018.
- Only documents in PDF format can be uploaded to the online application system, and documents cannot be more than 5MB in size.
